Media Jon Jones broken toe against Chael Sonnen

00.gif

This was the last time his offensive wrestling looked truly dominant in a fight

Tough?, if he broke his toe wrestling with Chael is because he is soft.

He didn't even realize that it happened until the he saw it and the post-fight adrenaline dump kicked in.

This led to one of the best inappropriate Rogan post-fight interviews. Imagine sticking a microphone in a guy's face when he's freaking out because one of his digits is hanging by a thread.

That toe was pretty bad but Jones has always been a tough dude.

Really wish they would all stop messing around and do the Francis fight. We all want to see it. If Francis wins Jones would be done, if Jones wins there are some amazing fights to come at HW. Too bad neither side can just do it, they are both complaining so much it is both their faults.

The great ones always find a way to win. Jones is the greatest of them all.
His haters till this day are still traumatized by the punishment Jones inflicted on their favorite heros.
These degenerates have spent more than a decade waiting for Jone's demise.

If the ref never stopped that fight, Sonnen would have dethroned Jones.

The amount of lucky breaks Jones has had throughout his career is insane.

-Vitor Armbar
-Gustafsson decision
-Reyes decision
-Steroid failures
-Drunk driving

If the ref never stopped that fight Sonnen would not be alive now.

It's been forever since I've seen that and god damn is that ruthless.

What's crazy is that this has literally never happened before or after - we've seen multiple leg breaks (Corey Hill/Anderson/Weidman) including ones outside the UFC, but this is the only instance I can think of in all of MMA where a guy sprawled so hard that he snapped his own big toe in half....unreal.
