wow this is a banger of a fight.

Benoit a slight favourite. This is going to be a tough fight for Solecki, but wouldn't count him out either. I'd think Benoit by UD 30-27 or 29-28.
 
Solecki has some of the best top pressure in the LW division this is going to be a tough one for Benoit.
 
Benoit will fight through some adversity, but I believe he guts it out.
 
St. Denis is gonna beat the shit out of Solecki. Great fight though
 
Good fight, I like both but BSD has impressed me more - I think he wins a decision or TKOs him in the 3rd.
 
This is going to be interesting linewise, because Solecki is 4-1 in UFC, but hasn't looked great his last time out, though he won.

Benoit is 2-1 in UFC, but the guy he lost to popped for PED, and he looked dominant in his other two wins.

This is interesting because Benoit did get up when he got taken down, but I don't think he gets up if solecki takes him down. Solecki's really good on the ground, but not sure if he can sub Benoit in time.

I think Solecki's cardio and striking is a bit too sus for me to pick against Benoit.

A great fight though.

I think so, too. Benoit's grappling is strong enough to nullify Solecki's strengths there, and his otherworldly toughness could really test Solecki in deep waters. From memory, I can't recall anything remarkable about either's striking that would prove a decisive advantage.

Yeah. I think Solecki has the better bjj, but St. Benoit's got really good hips and scrambles really well, so I don't see solecki controlling him for long. Both are pretty basic on the feet, but st. benoit just seems more willing to throw down and push a pace.

Good for Solecki, probably. I think Denis was probably beating him. I like Solecki so, maybe I'm not too sad about it. I like both guys, so I really liked this fight though.
