Joe Rogan needs to go. He's out of touch with reality

UFC 184: Joe Rogan Thinks Ronda Rousey Could Beat 50 Percent of Bantamweight Men
During an appearance on The Dan Le Batard Show, Rogan gave the ultimate compliment in claiming Rousey could be competitive in the men’s bantamweight division. “There’s a lot of guys her size she could beat,” said Rogan. “I mean, a lot. If you took the roster of the UFC's bantamweights, 135 pounds, and you paired them up against Ronda Rousey, she might be able to beat 50 percent of them. That’s not a joke.” Rogan admitted that the difference in the male and female bone structure is his reasoning for stopping at 50 percent. "If she could take the kind of punches that some of these guys might possibly land, it might get up to like 60 percent. She’s a truly special talent,” he said.

"If Masvidal was around at that time he would be dangerous for everybody"

Masvidal WAS around when GSP was on top, but he was in Strikeforce trading wins and losses and getting choked out on Bellator cards

Yeah. That’s why Masvidal has so many losses on his record. Because he’s just better than GSP. Simply put. He also invented headkicks and flying knees if you buy into Joe’s hyperbole.

I mean maybe if Masvidal was transported in his prime a few years ago back when GSP started his reign. MMA has new techniques that weren't there back then. I think you'd be shocked at how many modern fighters would beat the older generation if they had a time machine. That said if GSP was in his prime now he'd be trained up with the latest cutting edge of mma training and easily win. Either way you guys need to just take a step back and breathe. These guys are paid to be controversial and get clicks and also support the current company.

I was always of the mind that Askren would have gotten wrecked by Koscheck, Hendricks, Ellenberger, and plenty of other UFC competitors, during his time in Bellator. He was always noted for his wrestling talent, but he wouldn't have matched up well with their physicality.

That said, the Askren who fought Masvidal was 6 years removed from his final match as Bellator champion. Building up some mythical aura around Jorge as though he did this to 2012 Askren is pretty laughable. Rogan just loves to fellate everything current.

I mean he was around but WAS NOT in the same division. He was a top LW in Strikeforce, but couldn't beat Melendez.

I also know that Rogan doesn't actually mean this, so it is a mute point.
