I was about to post this. He explains how he shot himself. (Disassembling the gun when he KNEW there was a round in the chamber that wouldn't eject out but decided to take the gun apart anyway).

I've been a huge Joe Riggs fan and was there rooting for him against Hughes.

I wish this guy nothing but the best, he's a great guy.

You cant be serious. Sadly there are people who believe that everyone should be able to own guns. Only police officers or military people should have guns. I respect the professional shooters like competitiom shooters etc. But being 18 and having a social security # should automatically qualify you to have a gun. Also, the whole 2nd ammendment crap is stupid, they lived in a different time. They needed guns in case their government was tyranical. These days, having a glock or ar15 isnt going to help you fight back against the government who has, tanks, missiles, jets, attack heliopters, warships, bombers and Nukes. But sure, go ahead and get all "badass american patriot" and get yourself and others killed.

Glad to see some Joe Riggs fan! People don't know this but Riggs has MAD Boxing skills!

I remember before youtube, his fights were in realplayer files when he was fighting in the local circut and man, he was destroying people with his crazy punch combos.

Infact, he was really good at snapping a jab or a lead right hook and he would counter punch with a straight left hand. Ofcourse, when he came to ufc, he became more of a ground and pound fighter as oppose to an early mma boxer.
