Jiri thinks Rountree wouldn't be a true challenge for him, do you agree?

Don't think this fight makes a lot of sense right now but I'd love to see it regardless. Definitely favour Jiri to KO Rountree but there'd be some dangerous moments for him in there early on.

Judging by how they did against Poatan, it would be unwise for Jiri to overlook Rountree

It would be a JBG endorsed fight though. Bangkok ready vs Samurai!

Gotta disagree with Jiri here. As long as Poatan is the champ he needs to rack up some more wins anyways.

He's way too focused on facing Pereira for a 3rd time despite being down 0-2. He needs to put him out of mind and rack up wins elsewhere. Beating Rountree would actually help his case to face Alex again, if he's actually able to take him out earlier than Alex did.

would be crazy if Jiri beat everybody but Alex

just like Royval and Moreno beat everybody but Pantoja

Khalil is one of the more difficult matchups for Jiri right now. Jiri is durable and hard to deal with but Khalil can crack, has solid leg kicks, and a good Muay Thai foundation. This style is often difficult for unorthodox fighters who lunge in and out and are heavy on their lead leg. This might be the best fight to make at LHW right now

I don't know where Jiri is coming from here, except his laser focus on the Champion.

And I like fighters who say straight up they want the Champ... Even if it's not terribly realistic.

But Roundtree is a pure striker and the fans will get a matchup that might be unforgettable.

I can't think of a better matchup. Unless Jiri drops weight.

Didnt rountree give Poatan the most problems overall so far in the UFC?(not talking about the 1 or 2 shots izzy landed and won)
