Basically it's having a large protein shake, a piece of fruit and your supplements of choice before every meal. Doesn't sound wrong to me, but still, that's not really smart, is it..?
How much would a protein shake and an apple do for satiety? Would that actually limit the "good food intake"? Will I puke in my mouth when finishing the third shake on day five of week three? :icon_neut

Apart from being an apparent marketing-thing, as usually on t-nation, I'll give it a try for a week...

It makes some sense for big, strong dudes who place a high priority on getting bigger and stronger. There are a lot of people I would steer away from this diet, such as people trying to lose weight, or people who struggle to eat a decent amount of quality, real food.

Wendler is the man, btw.

He sure is...But isn't the pre-meal shake and fruit rather meant to limit your actual food intake during the meal..?

You don't need an intricate understanding of the mechanisms of gastric emptying to figure out that necking a large quantity of liquid before every meal is an excellent means of instantly killing your appetite. How about just eating properly, Jim?
