Shocked Glover tapped to a no hooks RNC with under 30 seconds on the clock so quickly. It must have been TIGHT but he didn't fight hands or anything. To take all that punishment and then tap so quickly. You can't possibly watch the first 24 and a half minutes of that fight and ever question Glover's heart, chin, and toughness but that was just weird. Choke must have been sunk in just perfectly.

Ok after further analysis this is a masterful no gi clock choke and Jiri is actually a jiu jitsu master. He threw everyone off his trail by saying he doesn’t look for subs. The man is a genius. Welcome to the Jiri era.

The most unbelievable outcome and fight I've seen in a very long while. Jiri is truly something else, his ground game surprised me.
Glover was on his way to winning that fight, though, so I don't think he should be forgotten about. Most of the other guys in the rankings right now shouldn't get all cocky about running through him all of a sudden, cause what Jiri kept up with was unprecedented.

Yeah I think that was the combination. All he knew is that he was completely wiped out and this guy is hurting him. It's too bad because I think Glover would have kept his belt, but that is how it goes in the MMA game sometimes. I think he will have a rematch if he wants it.

He was going to sleep if he didn't. He tried hand fighting and got nowhere and he was dead tired. He for sure woulda been up b4 the time was up.
