News Jeremiah Wells will take on newcomer Andreas Gustafsson (UFC Fight Night 257)

Fun fight. Wells probably wrecks him.
 
Took a while for Andreas to get his first UFC fight, I wonder if he was injured or something. He doesn't exactly have the age to have a lot of downtime.
 
No matter what, I can never remember Contender Series fighters. Even if I watch the episode they appeared on, by the time they make their debut all I can manage is like... vague traces of their fighting style at best. It doesn't help that a lot of them wait like two years before they actually show up which is bizarre to me. I wonder what's up with that.

Is this guy any good? I might go look up that episode. Wells is dangerous but getting up there in years.

No, he's got a weak hairline.

Could go either way tbh, but Wells is pretty bad as far as technique and tactics go, he just hits really fucking hard and is strong as hell. If Gus' chin holds up I wouldn't be shocked to see him drown Wells.

He's ok. He beat up a decent Canadian regional fighter.
 
kinda surprised to see Gustafsson make into UFC this late, remember his brawls from the European circuit, guess he could give a few just bleed performances
 
Can see this being a short-lived brawl, and quite a fun one too. Both can seemingly crack.

I know right?

I KNOW that i watched this andres on contender. I KNOW I DID. but i have no recollection of who won, how the fight went, who he fought or how he won

THIS, exactly. It's such a weird feeling because it happens all the time when this DWCS dudes debut. I can count on one hand the number of times one of them made their UFC debut and I had a solid recollection of how their DWCS fight went.
