Fucking LOL! This is hilarious!

In a scene that sounds more like a movie plot than reality, Jean-Claude Van Damme and Green Power Ranger/MMA fighter Jason David Frank got into a heated altercation at Comic Con on Saturday.

The two stars have had an ongoing beef since Van Damme and Frank exchanged words back in 1995 at the “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie” premiere. Frank tried to settle their score by publicly challenging JC to a fight in 2010, but nothing ever happened … until yesterday.

Here’s what went down:

Frank tells The Blast he was asked to share his green room with JC and his 20-person entourage at La Mole Comic Con in Mexico City. Despite their checkered past, Frank agreed.

Frank says he grew suspicious when Van Damme’s handler approached him and asked him to take a photo with Van Damme.

Thinking Van Damme might just want to bury the hatchet, Frank went to meet up with him in the green room.

That’s when the Power Ranger says he realized it was “all a setup.” Frank tells us JC approached him with cameras rolling and demanded Frank apologize for calling him out in 2010 and said if he wanted a fight, “Let’s throw down.”

You can see the aggression in the video as the two stars beef up on each other, waiting for someone to throw the first punch. Frank even name drops his buddy Chuck Zito, who legendarily KO’d Van Damme at a topless bar in the 90s.

Van Damme and Frank both agreed to an MMA-style brawl and the Power Ranger grabbed the action star and put him in a headlock against the wall.

It was over before it even started — Frank says Van Damme froze up, seemingly surprised Frank was actually trying to fight him.

We’re told they argued back and forth for a few more minutes and, eventually, security stepped in and broke it up.

It’s unclear if Van Damme plans on releasing his footage of the altercation.

There's a video in this article but it doesn't show the whole thing:

JCVD is too pretty for this BS.

And fuck Chuck Zito's grease ball wanna be tough guy bullshit.

Be it marketing ploy or actual feud, come on guys, knock it off. I grew up admiring both of you, don't make me have to choose sides.

And name dropping Chuck Zito is pretty...I dunno, out there.

Was a big fan of both of these guys back in the day.

But JDF comes off like the prototypical MMA tough guy douche.

And let's not forget: Jesus Didn't Tap.

JCVD > JDF by a wide margin.

But Van Damme is too old for this shit at this point. He's 57 years old and JDF won some MMA fights at least recently enough that I remember those fights happening.

Shit, Tommy was about to start feeding JCVD some knees with the Thai plum. Could have been using the wall to dirty box too.

JCVD got son'd and it was sad seeing him like that. It is was a work I dont think JDF was in on it. He is a straight shooter and it seems real

It doesn't seem like a work to me.

What I'm wondering is what went down at the Power Rangers premiere in 1995 that pissed JDF off so badly that he was calling Van Damme out to fight in 2010. That's a long time to hold a grudge.

I guess JDF said whats up to JCVD and JCVD blew him off

Then in 2010 JDF called out JCVD for a cage fight

So it seems to me like JDF was the one with thegrudge and reignited it in 2010 with this call out

It sounds very high school drama and I cant believe these guys are acting this way

Wouldn't be surprised if JCVD did nothing wrong and the green ranger actor was the one who was acting like a little shit instead.

This is what the green ranger looks like today. Can you spell "Douchebag"?

JCVD: JDF, I was not impressed with your performance in the Power Rangers movie.

He is still living off that TV show.

So Van Damme snubbed him and 15 years later he calls Van Damme out over it? Was he really still that emotionally fucked up about it or was it some kind of publicity stunt, I wonder.

Also, why was Van Damme even at the fucking Power Rangers premiere? And if he WAS there, why would be snub the star of the film?

yeah man

He does this comic con shit year round. Probably killing it right now

Gotta be one of the easiest jobs in the world. Just go around taking pictures with people

He definitely is. Power Rangers is absolutely HIS LIFE.

To be fair, I think he does run a few martial arts schools as well. But in terms of notoriety, it's all he has because he didn't go on to do ANYTHING of note after the show. That was his 15 minutes and by God is he going to HOLD ONTO THAT SHIT!

I actually met him briefly at the Salt Lake Comic-Con a few years ago. He seemed nice enough, but even then I couldn't help but note that he was a 40-something year old man still going around pretending to be the Green Ranger. But hell, what can I say, his booth was actually pretty packed. There were a lot of people in the line get his autograph and, if I remember correctly, it was $40 for an autograph or $60 for an autograph and a picture with him. That's more than a lot of other people were charging.

I think the only guy who beat him was Patrick Stewart. For him, it was $80 for an autograph alone.

JDF seems like a hot head. He also had beef with the dude who played red ranger back in the day.

I just think it's ironic because power rangers would double down on the whole "martial arts is for self defense" kick, yet this dude 25 years later is starting fights while still living off the kids show.

Yeah, I think he challenged the Red Ranger to an MMA fight as well.

If I remember correctly the dude who played the Red Ranger is now a paramedic. He was probably just like, "The fuck?"

lol - didn't know he tried to fight him too. I was helping my sister in law with a vendor booth a few years ago at a convention and JDF was there. The guy was running around like he had adhd something serious.

If you're the one that has to tell the story, you're probably bullshitting.
