China is not much different, I've heard the same from gay friends. The Chinese government is even trying to crackdown on the influence of k-pop. They even have a book that teaches young boys how to become a man. A lot of my male students absolutely refuse to talk to girls during conversation practice.

Japan is worse though. They even called them vegetarian men or something, a guy who has zero interest in women.

But in all honesty why would foreigners want it to improve? You guys should be rooting for them to fail because it means you'll get laid way more as a result.
