That's what i am wondering. I'm pretty sure he like the booger sugar back in the day too! Anyways hope it's just a minor set back and he get get back on the wagon.
 
No wonder. Imagine having an insufferable fuck like Lars yapping at your ankles everyday for 40 years. It's amazing the man hasn't blown his head off
 
Jeez you'd think you'd grow out of addition by the time you're literally old as fuck.

Kirk and Lars both have had cocaine issues.

Kirk was heavy into it during the Damaged Justice tour from 87-88 along with Lars. He managed to quit using it but relapsed during the Load era. He also admitted to smoking heroin a few times but didn't care for it. He has since become clean and spends a lot of money now on comic books because it is much more enjoyable and healthy for him.

Lars had been using cocaine off and on since the mid 80's but quit in 2008 and hasn't used it since.

James though has had problems with alcohol for the majority of his adult life. While the rest of the bands alcohol use cooled down during the later part of the 90's his got way worse and he also ended up hurting his back which led him to start taking painkillers for that which all of it came to a head in December of 2001 when he went into rehab. James came out of it straight edge. His latest relapse makes me wonder when he started drinking again and also if he started using painkillers again. The one good thing about this latest one is that James himself checked into rehab which from my own personal experience dealing with addiction that he knows he needs to kick this in the butt before it ends up ruining his life and ultimately killing him. James never touched cocaine or heroin.

Rob Trujillo never had problems with drugs. He has said in the past he dabbled in it but it wasn't for him
