Let's be real, R2 was close.

Bassil landed the bigger shots UNTIL Jack started working the body - at that point, Bassil was almost done.

But Bassil pressed forward, shot a takedown, and JDM (ridiculously) jumped D'Arce.

He threw away an entire 2 minutes of a close round, and we're expected to score that round for JDM?!

Come on...

Jack's corner absolutely knew he'd lost.

100% 2-1

JDM could have got a 10-8 round two if he didn’t jump the kimura and get reversed like a fuckin idiot
JDM also lucky he has a chin. He wasn’t rolling with punches and took flush counter hooks all night.

he straight up looked bad everywhere
He absolutely lost that fight. Straight rigged

Let's be real... damage trumps position.

No g&p no sub attempts.

It was the right decision

Havez was close to getting in rounds two and three so I don’t mind the decision. But could have gone either way

I don't agree it was rigged, I don't think MMA needs much rigging, I just think sometimes reputations cloud the judges.

Yup.

I genuinely think everyone should rewatch.

JDM landed around 7 good body shots.

He ate a couple of punches on the feet, and threw away an entire half round, where Hafez fished for an arm triangle and JDM looked like he didn't know what he was doing.

JDM fought like shit, and realistically he threw away the fight.

He fought like a idiot sure. But lmo opinion 2 and 3 were his.

Honestly, I need to see everybody watch R2 again.

If your decision stands, it stands, I'm not calling anyone an idiot, or being rude.

I'm just saying, no, not for me.

Take reputations out and it's pretty clear JDM lost despite the 30 second flurry to the body.

What a smart D'Arce Jack was in doing that

JDM got exposed he’s good but it the blue chip prospect they tried to pain him out to be

Some of the worst fight IQ and grappling instincts Ive ever seen in a UFC fight

Jack's stream of consciousness:
"Let me try for a guillotine for the 3rd consecutive time"
"Imma grapple a guy I'm piecing up on the feet"
"I may be down 2 rounds but let me slow down this fight in the 3rd instead of potentially finishing"
