He is just the Renan Barão of kickboxing and nothing more, never was champion there and lost to Pereira, a newcomer to MMA, 3 times in 2 different sports, 2 of that being 1 KO and 1 TKO. He is good in MMA though, his accomplishments are good, but will never be at the same tier as Anderson, GSP, Stipe, Jones and etc.

Reality. There are levels and he is not there.

If you go across all combat sports, you will see a lot of wrestlers with similar feats.

Brock for example, 106-5 in wrestling and 5-3 in MMA. Across combat sports he is 111-8, which is 93.28%. Is Brock one of the greatest???

All good grapplers could get similar records too. Championships may be a better indicator, but once again, grapplers have tourney championships so it is hard to compare even that feat.

But you guys really need to quit with this "yeah, Poatan won but it was robbed."

No one wins three times on luck, just admit that. Izzy was better in the fourth fight and KOed his ass out cold, but like I said, he's a great fighter even with the three losses, no need to keep coming with excuses for each one.
