Adesanya claims he has already contacted police and is pressing charges against this idiot. I am actually happy with this move as I am sick of all the stupid "pranks" you see online. These lowlifes harass people for views and likes. This guy was most likely trying to get some type of lawsuit out of antagonizing a pro fighter who would destroy him.

Punk ass bitch behavior on that guys part, from the video it didn’t look like Izzy was the instigator.

However…
Izzy should have just said nothing online and moved on. There is no explanation needed. This kind of comes off a little whiney and virtue baiting.

Was there an actual physical altercation or is this some sort of harassment charge?

Let's be honest, from this video alone you really can't be certain what happened between Izzy and this guy. They both have aggressive body language are talking shit.

That being said, the fact that Israel is standing at his car and appears to be trying to leave indicates that the other dude is probably the aggressor. You can see him take 2 steps towards Israel right at the beginning of the video seemingly trying to intimidate acting like he's going to swing any moment while talking shit.

The fact that you think this is normal or acceptable behavior to do someone in public (whether they're a douchey fighter or not) is pretty fucked up. This guy actually did these actions in real life, not on a goofy internet forum.

I highly doubt you would go around on the streets causing altercations with pro fighters that can beat the shit out you purely because "people call out douchebags".
I didn’t even watch. I’ve seen this shit countless times with pro football players. And I’ve told a few douchebags to their faces what I thought of them. No intentions of fighting. But just telling somebody to their face I think they’re a joke/asshole/fuckstick.

Sometimes they come up to you at an event like God’s gift. I’m not shaking your hand. I think you’re an asshole, and a blight on the league.

I mean do YOU feign banbois status when you meet celebrities?

No chance.

Izzy had a friend (City Kickboxing fighter) named Fau Vake who died from a street altercation in 2021. He was punched (only once) and hit his head on the pavement which hospitalized him. He died 9 days later.
I have been critical of Izzy lately(related to his last bout/promo of it), but I do appreciate his statement here along with the handling of the whole situation and I immediately got reminded of this situation back in 2021 while reading through it which is really sad one considering Vake has a young daughter
I think some of the four men who assaulted him got pretty light sentences from what I recall, which is pretty fucked considering they killed a man. Anyways, again props to Izzy here for how he approached this altercation

Also this is him talking about Vake in his post fight interview after beating Vettori:

Izzy did the right thing here. But I'm not gonna lie, I would have loved to see him lay that fool out.
Izzy was smart, right or wrong if Izzy laid 1 pinky on that guy he'd have been sued and he'd waste money on lawyer fees. That weirdo Logan Paul impersonator who tried to fight Nate Diaz and got choked out still sued him even though Nate was found to have acted in self defense by the cops.

I'm not a fan of the Dogbender, but bro, these losers were following Izzy trying to start a fight while filming so they had evidence for a lawsuit or whatever.

Pretty big difference from you going up to some douchebag but not having the intention of actually fighting like you say.

And even if Izzy is a douchebag, who cares? It doesn't really affect the fans in any way at all. People thinking because he's a dickhead in the fight game that it's okay to just waltz up to him and start shit is wild. People who get riled up by celebrities/athletes to the point where they do this sort of shit are weird as hell.

People need to mind their own business. Let Izzy get his pie in peace and then go home and bend his dog or paint his nails or whatever he does.

Adesanya did the right thing and more importantly the smart thing, I've no trouble believing his side of the story.

Fucking punks like that are either really, really dumb and/or looking for a paycheck and when they're not doing that, there's usually more than one person involved. It's times like these I think of a particular Conan The Barbarian quote. I hope he's successful in his litigations since he had to be careful not to destroy them, if ol' boy was serious he woulda tried to put hands on him. Maybe he/they had something resembling a brain because if he would've swung on Izzy it'd be self defense time and he'd get cleaved on camera. Smells like a setup.

Funny, Adesanya doesn't look like much in street clothes but that's why it's good not to judge people too quickly lol.

Right way to handle it for a guy of Izzys status. Don't actually get physically involved with the idiot so you don't end up having a weapon pulled on you, or end up killing the guy cause you kod him and he smashed his head off the curb on the way down. Just move on and let the police deal with it. It's not worth how badly it can ruin your life.
