Adesanya beat a 43 year old Silva who was coming off a 2 year layoff and couldn't look more underwhelming doing it.

Gastelum would have put a brutal beating on this version of Silva. Possibly even finishing him inside 2 round.

So Jones couldn't KO Smith and Smith was KO'd by Thiago Santos.

Israel shouldn't be looking past anyone . Yes, he tko-ed Brunson which everyone was starting to do BEFORE him and has a one sided decision over tavares.I dont know what to make of his 7-1 favored decision/exhibition over the 45 year old Anderson.

I think you are missing the point (perhaps intentionally). Silva can't claim GOAT status because his legacy is fucked due to failing for steroids twice. Why? Because the inference now will be that he was always cheating.

Silva has had exactly one win since USADA went live (and two documented failed drug tests) and he was given a gift in the fight against Brunson.

That's your opinion and no, I'm not missing it. Saying fighters can't claim GOAT status based on PEDs is completely arbitrary since fight orgs have different levels of testing in different periods. Take Fedor, who seems to be a consensus GOAT around here. Silva passed drug tests in the UFC for 9 years (longer than Fedor has been under valid testing). He didn't get caught until USADA. Fedor has never been tested under USADA, nor did earlier UFC fighters like Chuck Liddell. PED use only disqualifies fighters if you compare everyone using the same testing standards. And for the record, I seriously question the testing in any Scott Coker org. Ubereem, Bigfoot, Barnett and Werdum all tested clean in SF and all got busted in the UFC. Some of them even got caught before USADA.
