Which fighter impresses you more in their past 4 fights?

It's close but Chimaev has impressed me more.

Islam is a big ass LW and Khamzats height is overrated.

I think they may just fight one day.

The UFC lists Khamzat as 6 foot 2 and Jones as 6 foot 4 hmmmmmm

Khamzat is the most impressive fighter in UFC history in terms of how they started their careers. This guy might honestly end up as the GOAT if he can stay active.

Jon Jones looked like an all time great pretty much immediately.

Pretty sure Anderson won a title within his first few fights in the UFC.

Connor was shocking people at 145 and calling is fights.

GSP steamrolled the division much the same as Hughes did before him.

If Islam wipes the floor at LW (like Khabib), maybe Islam won't be too scared (like Khabib) to challenge himself/move up and maybe 2-3 years from now we might actually see an Islam vs Khamzat fight in Abu Dhabi for the WW belt...

There's like a 5-7 inch height difference here.

He would have to be wearing platform boots to make up the difference.

UFC lie about all the heights of the fighters. You can tell Jones is just the much bigger man from his head size alone.

Islam just cos he's fought more guys, touger guys and shown off more of his skills thus far

Islam isn't a big LW at all. He was much smaller than his opponent tonight.

They're both "big ass" for their current weight class.

Islam by a mile. Not saying that means he's a shoe-in to beat Khamzat, but he's just gone out and performed a lot more against higher level competition. Islam's the best lightweight in the world very clearly. Khamzat hasn't shown that he's the best of any division yet.

Khabib wasn't scared. He really just doesn't give a fuck. He hit his jackpot and has made his business investments. You're out of your mind if you don't think Khabib is of the opinion that he would be very competitive at 170. Again, he just doesn't care.
Makhachev seems to feel differently though and wants those fights. We'll what comes of that, but I definitely think Makhachev would be a contender and also highly competitive at 170, if not a potential champ.

Islam right now. Once Khamzat beats burn I'll be impressed.
