Has anyone seen UFC 261 salaries?

I'm not arguing that Marty's $1.5m or Shevchenko's $430k are completely justified and fair but how come is Chris Weidman still getting $400k to show?

Or Jimmy fucking Crute $200k? Is he a bigger needle mover then Rose Namajunas now?

Seriously i think Dana should not be so generous to the fighters and giving them money they clearly do not deserve.

Weidman 400k to show. I didn't expect that. That's a good contract he got there. But how many more fights is there left on that contract?

That's still pocket change compared to a lot of other sports with the same exposure as the UFC.
Are we really going this route again?
After seeing Weidman's injury and thinking about the ridiculous healthcare system in the USA, I think he's gonna need every cent of that 400K

Former champ with name value who only fights ranked opponents?

Rank of his last six opponents at the time they fought:

Uriah Hall: #9
Omari Akhmedov: #11
Dominick Reyes: #4 at LHW
Jacare Souza: #5
Kelvin Gastelum: #8
Gegard Mousasi: #5

I don't know what his contract says but it would probably piss fighters off a lot if the UFC said, "You've gotten knocked out a couple times, so we want you to fight again for half of what we used to pay you." Good luck getting guys to take risky fights if that's the case.

I don't know if these numbers are correct, but if they are, they obviously reflect the last contracts signed. Some fighters sign lengthy contracts. Oftentimes this benefits the UFC more than the fighter, but sometimes the fighter makes out better than their record would seem to justify.

The UFC pays the medical for all fight related injuries.

they don't disclose pay. fake...

Joanna Champion who was Dana's love child for a good amount of time never even cracked 200k to show but Jimmy fucking Crute is already there???

this must be fake

The article links to another article at the bottom as a source:

https://www.sportekz.com/mma/ufc-261-salaries-purse-payouts/

It's guesses based on past disclosed pay. I have no idea why they randomly took a guess at Usman and Masvidal's PPV points though. Those are generally the biggest mysteries because those are never revealed but they're just passing it off as fact before the PPV numbers have even been released lol.

Seems like a gossip rag more than an actual reputable site based on that alone.

Weidman should’ve gotten a finish of the night bonus, he definitely had the most memorable of all the finishes, albeit he finished himself off in short order...

Lol wtf?..

First these arent accurate ..

Second post your source if your gunna make a thread talking business numbers

Third these numbers are still very low man lol wtf r u saying ... UFC made 85% more then all those fake pays added up.. as they only pay fighter about 15% of the revenue..which is bullshit cuz without the fighters there is no show

4th ..Money they dont deserve?? Says fucking who? This sport is crazy hard and expensive... Not to mention theres no medical care insurance or retirement fund so that $400,000 that weidman got just took a hit as he'll be in the hospital for awhile and wont be fighting for a year or so ..and had to pay for a camp and flight...

5. Your an Idiot

so as JDS, Overeem and plenty over former champions who was cut without any hesitation. and Chris is even closer to B J Penn area then those guys. words like that won't piss anyone off at all.
in ESPN era you have to have McGregor level name value for it to matter. average UFC card of near future will do just fine filled with nonames form a contender series and headlined by someone like O'Malley or Shahbazyan.
