So far Trump has basically made most of the world hate America besides Russia / Putin and Israel.

Which I'd say is quite an accomplishment.

Is the economy better now in the States because of Trump? Has he increased jobs, how's the unemployment rate? Do you feel safer with him?

For the people who voted for him on here, has he lived up to your expectations or even exceeded it? Or this has been a big humongous failure?

Trump is a very polarizing figure. You can't be in the middle ground with him, you either love him or hate him.

Corporate greed and political corruption is failing America.

Trump is a symptom of much bigger problems, namely the public's (deserved) complete lack of confidence in the political establishment.

I feel sorry for anyone who thinks Trump is some kind of godlike savior, and I feel sorry for anyone who thinks Trump is a fascist.

Trump is part of the corporate greed - he is a billionaire real estate mogul who got a head start by his dad also being a billionaire real estate mogul.

He couldn't be more detached from middle/lower class - he only cares about increasing his wealth/reputation and has 0 problems with political corruption as evidenced by his constant attacks on judicial system and denying election results that don't favor him (+ employing his whole family in the white house + firing/pressuring anyone who disagrees with him).

Agreed. Which is all the more ironic.

America hates the political establishment so much they would rather elect someone who represents one of America's greatest evils (corporatism) than someone from the establishment.

Honestly, the fact that the establishment hated Trump only made Trump more popular. He's the ultimate, "The enemy of my enemy is my friend."

Absolutely failing us but blame MAGA more than anything. They never hold him accountable for anything. America first is America alone. We won’t have many allies after this and China is really benefiting from Trumps horrible decision making.

There is at least some good in there with the border control.
He has made real progress there that is true. I don’t think that’s worth the destruction of the Republic or the damage done to the economy myself. Foreign relations are probably ruined for the rest of our lifetime as well.

The fog spewed out by the media makes it really hard to tell. Pitiful.

I'm in the middle.

Kamala was a hot mess, he is better than her.

I like a lot of what he was done. I like his personality and trolling. I find him funny. He is doing a lot of good things. Securing the country from illegal invasions and stopping this trans mess. Overall pretty good.

He will turn on you in a minute. Look at Elon. This big beautiful bill added a ton of debt. It was a mess. I also disagree with what is looking to be an aggressive military build up and offensive somewhere. Also, what about those Epstein files .. .

Honestly just ask if you align with Democrats or Republicans. No Dem will admit things are fine under Trump. I'm looking out my window right now and the sun is shining, my lawn is green, my kid is in school, my investments are good, etc

No, things are better overall for most people. Unemployment has stayed around the same level for over a year, with the biggest change being foreign born jobs and government jobs declining and being replaced by Americans having real jobs, so that's an improvement. Border stuff is good.

Inflation has stayed around the 30 year average after being double the 30 year average for Biden's term.

Crime is also down from a year ago, and the cleanup of DC has been great, but we'll have to see if that's just a temporary improvement or if some of those improvements hold.

I'd rather military spending stayed the same instead of a large increase, and some stuff in the BBB I like, some I don't, I don't like the preferential treatment of Israel and we'll have to wait and see at the end of the term what the debt increaee looks like after growth is factored in, but likely it'll be an increase in debt because that's all any president ever does.

Day to day life for the citizens is improved on balance, and even the people desperate to complain have to go on reddit or bluesky to look for weird gossip shit that doesn't impact day to day life from losers who use terms like "the world stage". When the stock market dropped, they all said "it's grandma's retirement, bro", then it instantly recovered and immediately shifted to "that only helps rich people, bro".

How do you know he is better than her? She is not and has never been the President, so you cannot say with any confidence how she would have performed?

trump is merely another symptom, he's the venereal disease you catch on a weekend bachelor party trip to Tijuana. A healthy, united America doesn't suffer his foolishness.
