If you click on the link below, you can read the detailed reasons listed after each number.
The way she describes her trip sounds extremely simplistic and doesn't calculate the total amount of time going forward and coming back. Her trip total = 20 hours
She never even mentioned how trains have stops along the way, which adds further delay.

After procrastinating to buy my flight home for Thanksgiving one too many times (sorry, Mom), I've been left with no other option but to turn to the Pennsylvanian, a 9-hour and 20-minute Amtrak train that travels from New York to Pittsburgh.
This time, I paid $316 for the round-trip ticket, and was happy to book the train instead of a flight.

It's not perfect, but from avoiding never-ending security lines at the airport to having a row to myself, here are the four reasons I prefer traveling by train.

1) There are no security lines or airport hassles

2) I don't have to worry about size restrictions or checking too many bags

3) There aren't assigned seats, and I usually have a row to myself

4) It's a beautiful train ride

Amtrak sucks ass but she said she has taken the train for the last five years

Apart from the duck face selfie in the bathroom and the horrible fashion choice, I don't see much wrong with her choice of taking the train. It is a more relaxing and comfortable ride, and if you factor in the travel to the airport and 2+ hours at the airport, the time saving is greatly reduced.

However if she were to choose to take a Greyhound on purpose then that bitch be crazy

Judging by the picture, all three. The train choice seems reasonable though.

I have been spoiled by Swiss trains yet am tempted to try this out sometime to see just how bad it is
