Is team Black House still a thing?

At some point they were basically the most respected and succesful gym in MMA. However, after Anderson lost his title it seems like they completely disappeared from the landscape. Nova Uniao became Brazil's #1 team with Jose Aldo as a champion. Does Black House still exist and is Big Nog still the head coach?

They had sytidotong or whatever its called and wolfslair as two of the top 6 gyms

Big Nog was never the head coach, he was in his Team Nogueira in Brasil.

From what I understand, Black House was originally located in Brasil at X Gym, were Jacare souza, Anderson Silva, Feijao and Erick Silva used to train.
But then they split and Ed Soares put Black House in the US.
There a lot of the guys that used to be managed by Soares trained for a bit when they were in the States, like Anderson, Nogueria, but the team is mostly formed by RFA, LFC guys.

Long story short, when you think of Black House mma you should think about Kevin Kasey, Alan Jouban, James Moontasri, those guys, and is still going on with young prospects.
Pedro Munoz used to train there.

Sytidotong or whatever its called is still a thing, they had a guy fighting in the UFC recently. I can only ever really remember that Ken Flo and Marcus Davies fought out of there, so it was never one of the most successful gyms, but I think Delegrote being buddies with Rogan meant they got disproportionate praise on broadcasts.

They're still around but they're a complete husk of what they used to be.

I remember the days when it was Black House, Team Jacksons, and everyone else. The only gyms that seemed to withstand the test of time are AKA, and American Top Team (and a couple others I'm sure). Jackson-Wink is handing on by a thread with Jones and Holm.

A lot of the top team of the past are no more. There is no Miletich Fighting Systems, Lions Den, Team Punishment, Team Quest and so on.

Thanks for the clarification. Weren't they affliated in some way tho? I swear I also saw Anderson, Lyoto and Junior working with Nog in training footage.
