Anyone know whats up with SPRAWL? They used to crank out new short styles all the time. And I bought a pair if their Gi-Flex pants a couple years ago, and I LOVE THEM, the best gi pants ever.......and they haven't had my size in stock on their website in over a year, and I haven't seen any new short designs out in...quite a long time also.

Are they taking a break? Going out of business??? Better yet...anyone know where to find some size large Sprawl gi-flex freakin pants?

They're my favorite training/competition shorts.

They were one of the originals, and they NEVER took the bait of putting flaming skull dragons with blood splatter and chains on their gear.

Yep, one of the main reasons I still wear them. And no silly name, either.

Yes, its why I've been such a loyal customer. When I started seeing MMA/grappling clothing companies named shit like "Contract Killer" or "Death Clutch"....I cringed a little. WTF? Im not a hit-man. No one is going to die. Im an athlete training in a sport, not some medieval knight slaying dragons or some thug getting into street fights.

Just some plain, modestly designed shorts that were nearly indestructible, comfortable, and well priced. Without monsters, skulls, fake blood splatter, dragons or phrases implying imminent death. Is it that much to ask???

UFC sponsor tax is the reason why we see the same 4 brands inside the octagon now.

I would pick a pair of sprawls over those stupid ugly blue and red venum shorts that EVERY fighter has on every fight

Yeah, those are pretty bad. I'll admit the snake logo looks good and all, would be great on a football helmet for a mascot.

SPRAWL is/was such a clean, simple look.

But then again...UFC isn't aiming for that demographic anymore. They want TV viewers who are younger...who are more likely to like bloody dragons on their apparel.

I did, didn't get an answer.
If you called during normal hours, only other thing I can suggest is filling out one of their general contact forms. I wish I had a better answer for you, was just trying to help any way I could. I will look around and see what I can find. What size do you wear?

I really hope they are not going out of business. Compared to only a few others that I have sprawl blows the others away in quality. I have a pair of their shorts that were some of the original version from many years ago and I wear them all the time and they hardly show signs of wear.

I would totally rock those Venum shorts if they got rid of that stupid red fabric section on the bottom.

Best shorts I ever owned. Is there anything else comparable?

Haha maybe that's why they're not making stuff anymore. Their shit never wears out!

Yup without that shit they would be sick. Venom makes quality stuff. I have had TONS of gi's over the years too and my venom is my favorite as far as feel and quality it blows away most gamness, koral, kikskin, storm, furia, tatami, gi's in my opinion.

Never bought a Shoyoroll though. Just couldn't bring myself to drop the equivalent of a car payment on a gi.

I've been a loyal koral gi buyer and they make a sturdy gi, but i dont undersand what a "quality feel" means, ofcourse some gis feel like they'll get shredded in 2 practices but i dont get what high quality means.

I just bought my first shoyoroll gi last week new for $159 about the same prices as my keiko and cheaper than my koral and atama

I had three pair of sprawls as that is what was sold logo'd at the gym, and everyone of them had the Velcro fastener wear out fairly quickly.
