They have a prefixed menu usually in the $30 range consistening of Appetizer, Main Course, and then Dessert.

But here's the catch........
You only have two options to choose from in each category.
I have compared different menus in restaurants during restaurant week to find out how they bundled things together.
Sorry Giant Lard Asses on Sherdog, but if you have no interest in buying dessert you're wasting your money on the restaurant week scam.

It's honestly total bullshit!
If you go into that restaurant without the intention of buying dessert, you cut down your costs by at least 40%

Let your friends, family, and neighbors know about this

What is restaurant week?

Why would you eat at a restaurant when you could have a box of Kraft Dinner instead?

No it's not a scam. I'm lucky to live in a city that has food festivals around twice a month. Fried chicken festival just ended, we have mac and cheese, beignet, and wing festivals coming up next month so that's going to be baller.

$30 for a fixed menu is a hella good deal, it's an experience dude.

Food Festivals and Restaurant Week are not the same.
Trust me on this Holmes!
I love Food Festivals

Whenever I've done that type of event the restaurants were offering special dishes that weren't on their normal menus. That's not a waste of money.

I love restaurant week! Great way to save some money on restaurants I'd probably be going to anyway

It really is. I'm waiting on gumbo fest and po boy fest and for crawfish season to roll back around.

Nah dawg. Chefs work their balls off to create a beautiful fixed course menu that highlights who they are for restaurant week.

30 dollars is literally $10 a course. That's a great deal. Especially when looking at sample menus.

it's a civic initiative to generate economic activity and entice residents and tourists alike to explore the city. Only a bitter miserly Sherdogger would view this with suspicion and think up excuses to save an extra dollar.
