Always been a big fan, apparently the dude was illiterate until the age of 30...

He's been making movies or TV shows in form or another for almost 50 years (60 if you include a brief uncredited appearance in the 1968 Tony Curtis movie The Outsiders).

IMDB credits him for over 250 roles.

My personal favorite will always be Frank Black in Millenium, one of THE great TV shows, a mix of X-Files and serial killer thriller that spawned 2 great series and one slightly rushed, odd ball series that didn't wrap things up the way the show deserved.

Dude was always the bride and never the groom, no wait, is it always the groom and never the pageboy?
Whatever, he starred in some huge movies in supporting roles such as
Terminator
Aliens
Close Encounters
Dog Day Afternoon
The Right Stuff
Jagged Edge

But never seemed to get that main part recognition.
When he did get a leading role the movies were rarely above straight to video B grade (though awesome some of them were)
Piranhas 2
Near Dark
Stone Cold
Pumpkinhead
Horror Show (watched this last night, hence the long ass post)
Jennifer 8

Anyhoo, let's embrace one of the greatest journeymen in movie history, one of the dopest voices, one of the coolest motherfuckers on celluloid

I remember as a kid some time after Aliens seeing him on some Cinemax or HBO softcore porn movie at like 2am..

I was like,

Ewwww that's the robot!!!

Never could look at him the same way..

Kinda like when I saw Joey from friends softcore porn scene...

Riveting persona.

It’s like he was born to depict post-apocalyptic characters.

No shit, I don't remember that one

Yeah man,

It happened.. not saying he wasn't a good actor in the movie,

Just couldn't look at Bishop the same after that.

I love The Terminator and Arnie playing the T-800 but I would like to see an alternative version where Henriksen plays it like it was originally planned.

Yeah I was reading that earlier, the original storyboards were drawn with Lance in mind

Jennifer 8 is a hugely underrated serial killer movie, and I forgot I bought a copy of Man's Best Friend recently on Blu Ray

I was going to come in here and say Michael Biehn, but OP reminded me Hendrickson has been in more than just a couple of good movies.

Strong case TS.

Bill Paxton I considered, but he did have a few more big starring roles that took him into headlining; Titanic and Twister for starters.

Michael Biehn is a good call though

Just a couple... Let's not be too harsh on old Mike.

The Terminator
Aliens
The Abyss
Tombstone
The Rock
Lords of Discipline

Other decent stuff like...
Planet Terror
The Seventh Sign
Mojave Moon
K2
Navy Seals was okay
Jade was okay
Art of War was okay
The Fan was okay
Rampage was okay

Saw dog day afternoon for the first time a couple weeks ago. There he was.. Looking middle aged back in the mid-70s. Poor John cavaziel.

He and Lance shared a few movies in their time

The Fan and Lords of Discipline are movies I used to love, I need to find them from somewhere

Michael Biehn, Bill Paxton and Rick Rossovich were the real team of three that were inseparable.

But yeah, Lance joined up too as part of Team Cameron.

one of only 2 men to be killed by a terminator, and alien and a predator.
