Always been a big fan, apparently the dude was illiterate until the age of 30...
He's been making movies or TV shows in form or another for almost 50 years (60 if you include a brief uncredited appearance in the 1968 Tony Curtis movie The Outsiders).
IMDB credits him for over 250 roles.
My personal favorite will always be Frank Black in Millenium, one of THE great TV shows, a mix of X-Files and serial killer thriller that spawned 2 great series and one slightly rushed, odd ball series that didn't wrap things up the way the show deserved.
Dude was always the bride and never the groom, no wait, is it always the groom and never the pageboy?
Whatever, he starred in some huge movies in supporting roles such as
Terminator
Aliens
Close Encounters
Dog Day Afternoon
The Right Stuff
Jagged Edge
But never seemed to get that main part recognition.
When he did get a leading role the movies were rarely above straight to video B grade (though awesome some of them were)
Piranhas 2
Near Dark
Stone Cold
Pumpkinhead
Horror Show (watched this last night, hence the long ass post)

Anyhoo, let's embrace one of the greatest journeymen in movie history, one of the dopest voices, one of the coolest motherfuckers on celluloid
