Is It Common For Fighters To Have Groupies?

kinda inspired by that karma rx & sean strickland thread. do you guys think it's common for fighters to have groupies (like guys in other entertainment industries do)? or is fighting generally too brutal to attract chicks like that?

I remember when I followed Ngannou on Instagram after he won the title, there were lots of thirsty comments on his page of chicks wanting to bone him. I don't know if this is a common thing for successful fighters as I don't follow many fighters

and didn't Chuck Liddell used to date Jayden James at her peak?

This. Anytime there is clout to be gained there will be those type of people. You see it in other sports and music/movies all the time. A lot of times people don't even know who the artists are, they just know they are famous artists and that's all they care about - same with sports. It's for clout and also hoping to bag someone with money.

I train UFC to this day, and it definitely improves my game. Now, most of the girls you run into in UFC class are fugly, so I wouldn't recommend actually trying to meet girls that way.

But what I usually do is, when I go to my local Planet Fitness to weight train, I try to get in a few rounds of shadowboxing in between sets. Punches, kicks, the whole 9. I typically get one or two hotties approach me each day and ask me what I'm doing. I tell em I'm training for an upcoming match, then engage in some flirty banter and sometimes take them to the Zumba class room and show them a few grappling positions. The girls get extremely turned on at this point, a couple even soaked their panties (I can tell visually or through olfactory confirmation). It's only a matter of time before I take them home and drill them till they "tap".

The kicker? I don't actually compete, just train for fun. But they're none the wiser.

The exceptions are the championship level fighters who actually have money and status.
