Is Frankie Edgar top 10 all time?

Lets see, he won the belt at 155 being severely undersized, beat prim BJ twice in title fights, should've regained the belt at 155 but got robbed against Bendo, moved down to 145 and lost a razor thin decision to Also for the belt then went on a spectacular run where he got ducked by Conor for the belt. So he should've been two division champ if politics weren't involved. So what do you guys think, is Frankie top 10 all time?
 
At 155 of course, P4P no.

I say that as a massive Frankie fan. I also dpnt think that it is a lock that he would have beaten Conor, though he might have. Mcgregor could have knocked him out, with Edgar getting rocked/dropped as badly as he was against Gray and the massive size difference between he and Conor.

His best wins will stand as:
Penn
Faber
Oliviera
Sherk
Maynard
Mendes

Alongside a bunch of tough guys like Cub and Stephens that is a great career but not one of the very best all time.

Those wins you mentioned - and you left out Ws over UFC tittle challengers and the highly controversial SD with Henderson - would be great for a FW or even a LW.

When we are talking about an average sized 135lber, if you take some perspective, such body of work is definitely all-time worthy, at least to be in the discussion for top 10 p4p imo.

Nope. Possibly top 15, I’d have to really look at it. Top 20 almost certainly.

Hard to say top 10 all time since there are a lot of great fighters. Jones, DC, Anderson, Fedor, GSP, DJ are all in the top 10 all time. After that there are 4 spots to fill and a lot of great fighters. He is the Goat LW in the UFC for being champion and a Bantam Weight. He is what fighters should be.
 
At LW - of course. He's top 5, probably top 3.

GOAT rankings - can't put him in the top 10, but I'd say he's somewhere between 15-20.

GSP, Fedor, Jones, Silva, MM, Khabib, Cormier, Aldo, Cruz, Holloway, Volk, Usman, Hendo, Chuck, Big nog, Randy would all be above him in no particular order

Decent, fair list, these guys are all significantly ahead of Edgar. I think Usman, Vitor, Chuck, Stipe, Nunes, Shevchenko, Max Holloway, BJ Penn, Henry Cejudo, Randy, Matt Hughes, Conor are all higher on the all-time list. JDS, Reem, Bisping are debatable. Edgar is outside the top 20....maybe 25 or 26th.

I think so, I agree with all those things you mentioned. Not sure how I would rank him since its hard from being undersized in that division.

He is defiantly a top 5 LW, but top 10 all-time?? There have been a lot of great fighters in MMA history, I would not pick him in my top 10. Top 20, yes though. Fedor, Jones, A. Silva, GSP, Khabib, Liddell, Nunes, Aldo, Usman, Wanderlei Silva.....off the top of my head.
