Is DWCS better than most UFC cards?

With the way the show is setup, the only way to get a contract is to impress the bald goof. Winning doesnt really matter, as sometimes even exciting losers will get signed or given another chance. So most fighters come to BANG. They really want to be a fucking fighter, not break useless takedown records or win a hugging contest. At least for the night.

Yeah they are mostly unknowns but looking at some of these last UFC fight nights, I dunno who tf most of them are either.

IMO no, because the fights feel irrelevant/meaningless to me. There is no context, story, or relevance. Also the skill level isn’t very high imo.

Part of the enjoyment to me is the build up, the story, the expectations before round 1, predictions going in, form lines, rivalries. All of that.

Contender fighters have none of this. They are desperate and broke which helps guarantee carnage and wars which does help entertainment factor and every once in a while you can spot a true talent

Judging by what you value in fights I'd recommend watching LFA cards. Last one was great and they've been one of the most consistent promotions for a long time.

The fights are comparitively low level most of the time, so definitely not. The UFC brass and commentators go nuts over these lower-skill brawls every week, but I'd much rather see a higher-skill anything inside the cage, even if it's a chess match.

Top ranked ONE FC fighter who is coming off a title fight loss in ONE takes on a 15-1 champion from a regional promotion with multiple title defences, with the winner getting to fight in the UFC.

If that's not enough relevance/story for you, I'm not sure what to tell you.

Same way Fight Nights used to be understood as the stepping stone fighters needed to impress on if they wanted to get on a PPV main card
