Media Interview with former UFC fighter, bizarre individual

To be fair he's a contender series fighter. Dime a dozen at this point.
Yeah, from the 2018 season.
Dog he fought imavov, brunson and gastelum.

Wow this is making me feel old.
Him derailing a resurging Ferreira and derailing Carlos Jr.'s streak made him look like a good prospect. Blowing his load against Brunson early and then getting decisioned completely unraveled him however, though he didn't exactly lose to bad fighters at all.

He was supposed to get a softball against Alvey before he completely left MMA, who knows what could've been after that. Crazy how it's already been nearly 5 years since Imamov beat him.

I remember him having a good little run and then just dropping off bigtime.

Religious people are worse than vegans when it comes to not shutting the fuck up about their hobby or whatever.
It's particularly bad with "reborn" people who find it or refind it through incarceration, because it's the literal focal changing point of their life, so therefore everyone should do it.

ADHD, parents divorced, dropout, got into drugs, major drug trafficking, spent time in prison in 2 different countries, made time with a bible in one of them

Ian was basically proto-Gamrot.

If you wrestle against him he's going to kill you with cardio and endless funky sprawling. (Arman, Shoeface).

If you just shut down the wrestling entierly you can beat him up pretty easily (Dariush, Gastelum).

Fought 7 times in the UFC, 6 were ranked opponents, so UFC obviously had high hopes for him. Even gave hime tune-up fights to help him get back on track, which they rarely do anymore.
