Because Samuel L Jackson is a bad ass mother fucker, and there are enough white dudes in super hero movies. Hell, I think he and Storm are the only non-white heroes in recent comic-based movies (the last 10 years or so).

Oh, and Batman, easily. Nick Fury, while a high-level soldier, he's a leader more than a one-man wrecking machine. Batman, however, has repeatedly demonstrated the ability to single-handedly take out multiple highly-trained opponents (military, mercenary, League of Shadow/Assassins ninjas, etc.).

Since the OP is using a Batman image of Christian Bale, Nick Fury wins since Nolan's Batman is an ineffective crime fighter.
 
Nolan batman got set on fire by some low ranked thugs and his armor was weak enough to allow knives to penetrate it...
