These guys knocked this one out of the park!

These old fuckers came out of no where with a jam that I love blasting in my Mustang...

Seriously, what song is out there right now that can top this epic jam? These old ass fuckers are putting the younger generations to shame...

LOOK AT HOW OLD THESE GUYS ARE! JEEZ!!!

The Stones are ungodly talented.
Years of over-saturation in pop culture overshadow how brilliant and consistent their catalogue is.

Paint it Black was brilliant for its time

They look ancient but the song is solid. Mick Jagger is damn good at his job but I just want to beat the shit out of him whenever I see him lol.

Was just listening to Sympathy For the Devil on my home from practice.

Any video with Noomi Rapace is a great video.

Lmao exactly what I was thinking about the drummer. He looks confused as to why he has sticks in his hands and who the strange men dancing around him are but has the muscle memory of a man who's played for 300 years.

I agree 100%. Greatest fucking rock and roll band of all time.

They are an amazing group. And Noomi Rapace has a bangin body.

I love the Stones. My dad got me hooked with his records from middle and high school. That was one good thing about him being a bit of a pack rat. He has an awesome record collection.

Sorry. Irrelevant, out of touch, elderly gazillionaires going through the dirty blues rock motions. Their historic moment of genuine inspiration and creative output is long past. IMO.

sure thing there dude

Another old school band, not as old school as the Rolling Stones...

These fuckers can also still rock!

Holy shit man!

WTF happened to rock? This was originally a failed rap song made epic by ZZ Top...

This one also bangs in the Mustang!

too generic, i like the blast sounds and war shit, kinda of an ode to their 60's "street fighting man" archetype

The Stones really are the GOAT. They have a lot of stuff so it's not all good, but they have like seven songs that are some of the best songs ever.

I was going to post about how, when they dropped XXX in 1999, everybody I knew was saying stuff like "80's shit. They need to hang it up and stop pretending blahblahbla. . ." In 2012, La Futura hit #6 on the album charts in the US. (yeah I wikipedia'd some.) The same was said about AC/DC after Stiff Upper Lip. Y'know what? Not that bad.

Fact is, if you have genius, you can keep that shit going. Da Vinci was still coming up with shit until he was old and gray and couldn't molest young boys anymore.

Further proof:
Endless Wire- The Who (2002)
Mighty ReArranger- Robert Plant (2005)
Raising Sand- Robert Plant w/Alison Krauss (2007)
More than half of the shit he's cranked out in the past 20 years- Neil Young (various)

The end of MTV playing videos may have been a godsend for fans of enjoying a band's music over their mini-movies.
