If Wonderboy defeats Shavkat

Outside of like a 10 second KO no

Kinda reminds me of Anderson Silva ducking Weidman like his life depended on it and got ktfo.

WB tried his utmost best and some more to not fight Shavkat, but I guess Shavkat and getting his last fight money was the best available course of action for him from UFC.

Shavkat is hittable, and he doesn't wrestle like Belal or Burns, so I wouldn't count WB out. Actually, this might be a better match up for him than those two, because the way Shavkat grapples and fights or even he were to fight someone like Sean Brady. Shavkat isn't a great wrestler, he's a great MMA fighter with great MMA grappling, and WB's TDD might be actually better than Shavkat's wrestling. I bet it is. And when I say wrestling, I mean doubles and singles, but there's more to MMA grappling than those. I think the fight depends on if WB can handle Shavkat's clinch and his pressure.

Either way, I think Shavkat finds a way to finish him.

I would hope Belal would get it unless he loses his next fight which has been rumored to be in the works(likely Usman). In which case sure give Wonderboy the title shot.

Highly doubt it. One bc of his age. 2 bc there are way more interesting fights for Leon that'll pull bigger numbers. And 3 the UFC was not happy with how he handled his opponent missing weight. He refused to fight, asked for a TS, then complained to the media about his pay after pulling out. 3 big No Nos to Dana

Damn Belal is rumored to fight Usman?

That should be a brick wall stylistically for Belal

I think at Usman's age and how long he's been fighting he's definitely starting to decline and Belal seems to still be improving. I don't know who I would pick in that fight but they have similar styles and I think it would be an interesting fight.

I’m still trying to figure out why Belal is fighting. According to Dana “Belal has a fight”.

Yet Dana is on the record saying “the winner of Belal/Burns 100% gets the next TS after Colby”.

Sometimes you just have to pull a Woodley and sit out as long as it takes to get what you’re owed.

Belal could be doing a Tony level fuck up here. Which almost everybody hopes happens. Because Belal is not exciting.

Wonderboy is going to get smoked. He screwed the pooch if he thinks he has a better chance of beating Shavkat than 3 lbs overweight Michel.

I think you kind of answered yourself. If WB gets smoked by Shavkat, Belal might get passed up. I mean, would it surprise anyone? Colby Covington is getting a title shot ffs.

Silva ducked a guy he fought twice.
Classic sherdog. Are you mentally challenged?

This is exactly how I see it. Wonderboy must have seen from the Neal fight that shavkat walks into the pocket without much defense or setup, and shavkat I believe failed on every TD attempt against Neal. However WB doesn’t have the punching power Neal has to make shavkat pay coming in and even if he is able to stop the clinch takedowns, shavkat is great at dealing damage from the clinch so he may not even need the TD.

I think this is wonderboys best shot for a title fight, but I think shavkat gets it done pretty dominantly

To be fair, his best shot would've been that Usman fight he so longed for lol. Same thing with Usman. They both wanted to fight each other for a titleshot lol

Usman is clearly better, but he could be washed.
