Colby Covington used Kurt Angle's famous theme song for his Walkout,he got his permission to use it.
the chants of the fans in the arena were loud and if you look at views of the video on twitter or youtube,they are high,that's another proof that most ufc fans were pro wrestling fans especially in america.

UFC has embrased it long time ago.
Its more an entertainement than a sport, thats why they keep Jones in the roster.
Such a cheater would have been banned for life in any real sport organisation already
 
He should just go the WWE or AAA. Its for the best for all of us.

Watch again in the beginning of the video. The fans can be seen chanting by raising their middle fingers. Or was that footage photoshopped? Need a genius like you to enlighten me please

he used the real theme from WWE not a fan made one.

I feel like I'm 80, all like "I remember a time when fighters weren't trolling, and on twitter. Back when they just said stupid shit in those little promos right before the fight. Ah, the good ole' days."

And I'm only 64!!!
 
I thought it was common knowledge tbh. Of course there are some here who say they have never watched but I think most can name at least some wrestlers from the boom periods like Rock, Austin, Hogan etc.

Is there crossover between WWF fans of the 90s/early 2000s and MMA today? Absolutely. I watched pro wrestling when I was a kid and I remember Kurt Angle and the you suck chants. Then when I became an adult I graduated to real sports. I'm sure a lot of people have the same experience.

Dude I stopped watching before Kurt Angle but even I know who he is and have heard the 'You suck' chant before. I know the 'U cant see me' hand thing, I've seen Lesnar do the F5..

People are just afraid to admit they know anything about WWE lol
 
I thought the same thing. Once I heard Angle's theme, i was wondering if we woukd get the "you suck" chants
 
I used to watch WWE back in the day, I liked Kurt Angle... I hated seeing Colby come out to his theme because I can't stand him. I wish the UFC was more popular when Kurt started in the WWE, bc with his wrestling... I think he'd have done well in the UFC
 
I never understood why so many americans are anti pro wrestling. It's one of the best things about America.

Stop rejecting it, embrace it as part of your culture.
