I have heard of stories of people waking up in another state, cities, region of their country (usually pass out on a train headed opposite direction)


I bet this happen in Europe more in those big train stations with trains across countries

When I was in the Marines we got a call up as we were the react force for if anything went down. This was 2004 and Haiti had a coup. Got called up at 3 in the morning. A bunch of guys were drunk that night and one guy was blackout drunk and had pissed himself. A bunch of our guys threw him in the shower, got him dressed and basically dragged him around and carried his gear for him. He woke up on the C17 on the flight to Port Au Prince and had no idea where we were.

I have gotten drunk as hell on high quality booze and woken up on the other side of the world a bunch of times... but it was always intentional.

If I'm paying that much for international flights, you bet your ass I'm taking advantage of the top shelf booze available

I did Sgt Course on Hansen back in 2012 . I remember there were alcohol related incidents throughout the region and the 3 MEF CG was pissed and took an Osprey to see every base on Oki.

This probably doesn’t qualify but. I went from Los Angeles to Mexico to go to rehab (to try ibogaine which is illegal in the states). I did the treatment and relapsed a few days after when I found out how cheap and strong the Heroin and Meth are there.
I went on a sick one in Mexico for 11 1/2 months I was arrested and locked up on 6 different occasions during this time. Over the course of the 11 1/2 months I had zero contact with my family or friends in the U.S. until I wound up in the icu (with fractured jaw/broken hand/ and compound fracture in my right arm) and finally called my dad in LA at that point (fuck around with the fuck arounds don’t be surprised when you get fucked up). It was a phenomenal life experience as I have no delusions as to how far I will go when I get high (or drink) I’ve been sober for 4 1/2 years now and am grateful for everything I went through (or put myself through I should say).

Also worth mentioning I’m not Hispanic and can’t speak the language.

They ended up printing the names of Marines and Sailors, that pissed hot, in the newspaper. Cocaine was a huge problem at the time.
