I only tired it w/ musle milk. Baically after u put the scoops, stir it dry, smash up the powder, fluff it up. Then add water or milk. it dissolves SO much better, almost to the point it's just thick liquid shake. Don't sue if this doesn't work. I know for sure it works on MM vanilla flavor, cuz before it used to chunk and i'd have to "chew" on them to drink it. Now, theres nothing to chew.

I figured this out, cuz i currently work in a pharm company and theres a similar technique done to get rid of clumps while mixing the ingredients w/ a spray of water. It's called milling. I just applied that concept on the protein shake.

I use a "Blender Bottle" it works really well with no BS.. I just pour milk in then my powder, close the lid and shake for 2-3 minutes. You can buy 4 of them for like $30 all over the internet. Bit pricey but it saves me like 3 minutes per day, which adds up real quick.

my shaker has a filter which does what joshetc says, but i guess your way works well too BBN

I use a hand blender I picked up for $10 and it blends everything in in about 20 seconds or less. Works really well but the shakers are great if you are taking it somewhere or making it there.

get a small plastic funnel and just put your protein into a water bottle and shake it like hell for 30seconds. Best method i found, and just throw the bottle away when you are done instead of having to clean anything

Step 1: Add powder to bottle and seal.
Step 2: Shake (Dynamic Effort Bicep Curls)
Step 3: Drink

Not hard...

Any container with a lid works for me. MM mixes easily though.

I have chocolate MM, and I still find even after some vigorous bicep curls that it's a wee bit chunky. With milk or water.

Try adding some abduction and internal rotation of the shoulder... This would be the "Shaker Complex" and it's guaranteed to shake shit .05 seconds quicker than dynamic bicep movements alone.

I used to use a blender, ice, milk, etc.
Moved to a shaker for a bit.
Then went to cup/ spoon.
Now, I'm contemplating taking the spoon out of the stirring equation and just pouring a scoop in my mouth and washing down with a cup of water.

Just make sure you don't inhale with a mouth full of powder.

I have used shaker cups in the past and for specific purposes, but when I'm not traveling, I always use a shaker cup uncapped, stirring with a tablespoon.

I've stirred a half-dozen Muscle Milk flavors, ON, AlltheWhey Milk Protein Isolate, True Protein MPI, and a couple of other blends. Always liquid, then powder. Under a minute and it's chunkless.

BCAA's get a bad rap for mixibility, but I'll put 20g in a 32oz bottle, and after shaking it briefly, letting it sit for a few minutes, and shaking again, it's got no floaters or creatine-like sandy particles.

On the idea of just putting powder into the mouth and chasing, it's definitely an option for abnormal scenarios. Done it with Gatorade powder, Accelerade powder, and BCAA's.

Still, a truly superior protein intake method is putting a couple of scoops of Muscle Milk in with some warm butter.

I pour my milk into a glass. Scoop the protein powder on top then stir. I'll let it set for about 3 minutes then I'll come back and give it another stir. The method I use always produces smooth textures. I'm also a fan of plastic cups that way once I'm done drinking I can just throw the cup away.

Hmm, this I have to try. BCAAs with a blender is fine, but I can never get it mixed properly with a spoon and/or shaking.

I never have a problem with shaking BCAA's. Are you using the "half full shaker" technique?

Hydro whey is a pain to stir. An immersion blender in a solo cup works best for me.
