Lately I had noticed, that whenever my computer mouse was left idle for say 2 - 5 minutes, the fans on the computer kicked up noise. Almost as if I were playing a video game or editing videos...
(Whilst I was doing nothing on the computer at all)

This got me curious, so I switched on the task manager and set a trap... :p
Camping and making sure not to move the mouse, I waited as the patient feline stalker I am...

And voila!! A few minutes later the CPU showed a 30% extra consumption?!?!:eek:

I tried clicking it, but the culprit disappeared immediately...
(These hacker guys are smart as heck...)

I waited yet again for it to appear, but this time I didn't click it, instead I just read the name of the thing.
A quick google search lead me to figure out that it was MALWARE  (A few others had struggled with this same thing, and it was crazy hard to remove without help!! :)

Luckily I found Malwarebytes - A great program that quickly removed my malware problem
Now my computer is back to being a silent ninja!! :D

Really strange how I could have gotten Malware tho, I don't do piracy and I never watch adult things

Anyways: I really recommend that you give Malwarebytes a try, those hackers can get at you six ways from Sunday it seems :/

We’re you accidentally downloading Brazilian tranny piss parties?

Lots of Sherbros have that same problem with their computers.

Amazing people still end up doing shit like this to their computers in 2020

malware bytes is pretty legit. Also it's pretty "light" and doesn't consume a lot of pc resources. Doesn't slow down your pc etc.

Waitttt. What do you mean you never watch adult things? Ever? Like ever ever?
Now that I think about it, you don’t even swear much....

Maybe it's time to stop looking at nice butts.

True story. Biggest virus I ever got was from Googling Gary Busey pre-accident. Fucking Windows Vista.

yeah that's so disappointing.

Clementine never watches adult things. So just cartoons really. Tom & Jerry, stuff like that.

Moral/religious issue?
(Sorry, I’m having a nice whisky Old Fashioned, it makes me get philosophical. Actually I get really philosophical a lot, which is why I’m no fun at parties).

and you’re closing in on that Silver Belt, girl!

I think the culprit in this case might be my habit of playing Patreon created games o_O
Although it isn't piracy or anything, it still leads you to download the files from on there  Hmm

Hell I didn't even know Patreon had games. I don't think I've got a virus from downloading anything since limewire. Funny enough have downloaded a bunch of the Total War games from the pirate bay and nada.

Wishing your computer a full recovery. Can't lose the Queen of the forum.

You can use it for free if you like for a number of days :) Then you have to pay :D The paid version is mostly active protection anyways^^

My hard drive fan would run and make a humming noise once in awhile.

I am a practicing Christian, yeah, but that isn't really the reason
I just don't find adult stuff that interesting (Kinda gross) <45>(Weird subject)
<{1-17}> (That don't mean I'm lame in the bedroom... (Far from it) xD
<{1-16}>~^,^
Congrats on the Silver, homie!
I didn’t mean to sidetrack your thread. It got me thinking: what does a person who starts a thread about Christian songs, but also is known to dance in the kitchen to DMX, think of porn?
It’s a conundrum...;)
