I am rewatching this show and its pretty badass!

Batman Beyond was my favorite batman as a kid and its still legit to watch while other shows feel to cartoony now that I watch it as an adult.

Favorite episode was April Moon, lol this pic looks like "waiting for OP to deliver"

Yeh i remember this series it was cool and i liked it alot, old man Bruce Wayne passing the baton exactly the way it has to be, thats what it felt like to me

cartoons in the 90's were done better.

edit: didn't realize this came out in 2000 thought it was late 90's

It has one of the best theme song of any cartoon ever.

I support this thread.

Great show. Terry is the only person other than Bruce that can be Batman, in my mind. If you haven't already watched it you should check out the Justice League Unlimited episode "Epilogue". It's pretty much a finale for Batman Beyond, taking places years later with Terry as an adult.

And not the derail the thread, but best theme song for an animated show goes to Gravity Falls

Great series and if you get the chance, watch the director's cut of "Return of the Joker." I know a version's on HBO Go/Now, for anyone interested. I wish the series had gone on a bit longer, but can't always get what you want.

Dude! My favorite episode is April Moon!

Dude! My favorite episode is April Moon!

The ending was somewhat mysterious and dark!

I liked final cut and I thought Mutra Botha had a potential to be a great character but besides that, Mutra also looked EXACTLY like a guy who took a pic with a young Karo Parsiyan. He had the same coat, hair and cheek bones as well as age and height.

This is Mutra:

latest

I cant find his real life version, because it was just a pic in an old Karo Parisyan video that got removed but dude was the IRL spitting version of Mutra...

Both Mutra and Bullwhip/Harold have that Korean bullcut and cheekbones. Moral of April Moon...these hoes aint loyal!

would be nice if they make a batman show like naruto, long story line

I agree though I will say that Batman Beyond had consistencies with their villains. For example, a decent villain was Willie Watts and Big Time. Both had two episodes and both had character developments and consistency in their storylines in respect to the timeline which was done accurately.

Meanwhile other batman shows, reoccurring characters had no character development that was consistent to the previous episode. The bad guys showed up, they would take a beating and then comeback in the a different episode.

Batman Beyond was fun.

The writing quality was far inferior to BTAS but it was a pretty fun show. And it's part of the BTAS universe (Justice League/Unlimited, STAS, BTAS, Batman Beyond)

Apparently in this Universe (prior to Return of the Joker) Joker shoots up Nightwing badly one night and he looses an eye and it basically retires him and he's never quite the same physically. And Bruce gets Barbara pregnant (which destroys what was left of his relationship with Dick) and she ends up having a miscarriage because of a mugger. And Terry is Bruce's Biological son.

I loved grumpy old man Bruce Wayne

Liked how in the first episode how horrified he was when he almost crossed a line so you retired for a Bit.

Also the voice actor Chemistry between Kevin Conroy ( Bruce Wayne) and Will Friedle ( Terry McGinnis) , yes that Will Friedle -- Eric Matthews Will Friedle from Boy Meets World.

lol I had a crush on Terry's girlfriend.

Funny thing is, that was the FIRST time I heard the name "Dana" then the second person name "Dana" was no other then Dana White. For a while I kept thinking about Dana Tan when I was a UFC/Dana White noob.

I love this show, but I have a feeling that Terry is one of Batman's many offsprings.
