The first ever wrestling card I saw was in 1985 and the Sheik was the headliner in a cage match in a small town, Seaforth, Ontario. Sabu wrestled on the card too but he wasn't doing any of the gimmicks he started when his career took off.
We had second row. I remember saying, "this isn't the Iron Sheik."
But about this movie, I remember seeing it on the shelves as a kid and thinking "that looks really cheesy. I'm not renting that." Movies cost about 5 bucks to rent back around that time believe it or not. I didn't see it until I was an adult.
