My son turned 21 last night (today) so hung out w him and his friends.

Today I'm at my friend's house watching football and grilled steaks.

He spent his 21st birthday with his dad? Damn you just have a great relationship.

Ive been doing a buncha stuff around the house but at a leisurely pace and also went food shopping.

My 19 year old daughter and her friend was there too.
My friend who knows him since he was a baby showed up too...


But to be clear... I got to his hotel room around 6: 00pm for the pregame... Then we went to a restaurant where my daughter and my friend showed up... After the restaurant I left to let them do their thing....

They partied all night... I went home.

My wife and kids are all sick with Covid, my wife especially got KOd by this Omicron variant. I’m not sick so far and have tested negative on two rapid tests.

In short it hasn’t been a great weekend, and I’ll have to work at home this coming week because the partners at my firm asked me to work from home so as not to infect the office in case I’m carrying it, but the shittiest part of it all is that my kids will have to stay home this coming week. That’s going to suck.

My girl caused us to be late to Monster Jam which set off a chain of events that ended with me cussing her out for the first time ever in 5 years and leaving her to fend for herself in Oakland
Havent spoken to her since but Im pretty sure were broken up now
Then me and her best friends baby daddy got into a fight against his drunk ass cousin at the train station that ended with blood everywhere and those two in handcuffs while I explained to the cops what happened because theyre both illegal immigrants and dont really speak good english

Went to the walk in this morning to find out I got Bronchitis, and am waiting on a covid test result.

Played a couple hours of pickup hockey at the local rink yesterday. Forgot to schedule an appointment with my massage therapist afterwards and woke up really stiff & sore everywhere this morning. Spent like half an hour doing stretches and ate a magic muffin, felt a lot better afterwards.
