For people who actually compete or cross train here. Assuming you travel back in time and fight in UFC 1 with the knowledge of what these fighters could do, could you beat most of them? Conditioning is a big factor, but a lot of people are blue belts or higher in bjj nowadays and could strike and have wrestling, could you out grapple the strikers who have absolutely no ground or wrestling game and outstrike Royce while preventing a takedown?

All first round knock outs via showtime variants (kick, knee, wheel kick).

Cross trained here. I would do okay against some of the guys who were single stylists, primarily strikers. But Shamrock & Royce would have annihilated me. lol

I'm a 3 stripe white belt - I would have had the shit beaten out of me!

I'm coming off of two shoulder surgeries so I'd probably get smashed. Don't forget a lot of the fighters were very heavy, Im at 158 and out of shape so some of the less skilled fat guys would probably crush me in the clinch.

I do crossfit 3x a week so I'd fair pretty well, might get beat by Royce but would handle the rest pretty easily.

Crossfit is a lifestyle

I've thought about this a lot before and I think I'd do well but who knows. I've wrestled for many years and was decent. BJJ for a few years and some stand up training. 5 10 185lbs but those multiple fight single day tourneys are insane.

Drunken wrassling champion here, my submission victories would have been the stuff of legends. Or more likely I would be quickly taken out in the first and only round.

I would have won the tournament if it weren't for shamrock.

well I would have ha my hands wrapped :P

Then eyepoke followed by barrage of nut shots :D

Who's the guy who ran out of his first match crying and screaming like a little girl? Cause that would be me. Wait, no one did that?

Real answer: I would have been a ground-breaker.
