There's almost no way Bader would have beaten Cormier.

Which is weird because Bader is underrated, and Cormier is sometimes overrated.

But realistically, Cormier routinely beat fighters equal to or better than Bader, and even when you break it down to the nuts and bolts, there's almost no advantage Bader would have had.

Still, it would have been a very competitive fight, and worth seeing.

I wouldn’t say instantly, Coleman/Randleman were big and strong wrestlers and you’d be eating some of Fedor’s shots coming in regardless. Few of the elite wrestlers at the time had good submissions/defense, but if we take the strike force Grand Prix champ DC vs mid 2000s Fedor I think Fedor still edges it out
