So I noticed both Duran and Ezzard Charles , will on occasion dip under the lead jab and come up from under with a rear uppercut to head or body. I know how to drop down to deliver a right hand, sinister explained that well with Charley Burley vs jd Turner picture but how do you drop elevation the other way, thank you.

I think you're talking about a roll? Roll under the punch and as you pop back up throw to wherever you can.

When slipping a jab (vs orthodox), you're basically turning your left shoulder to the right to get your head out of the way and to turn to the outside of the opponents body so you aren't in range for a right. This is also the basic start of the right uppercut, so as you're already into throwing it, it's natural to continue to do so.

He said dip under? Does he mean a slip or?

He said dip, but if you slip and go low to the outside it would achieve what he wants. Faster than a roll.
TS if you dip with a slip to your rear side you follow up with a rear uppercut to body or head and if you dip and slip to the front side you can come with a lead body shot or hook to the head.

Here's a perfect example of how to throw hooks and uppercuts off of slipping low demonstrated by Mike Tyson. Notice the still he has slipped the jab to the right but gets low, the very next shot he throws is a big right uppercut:

Ya, I'd think a slip is much quicker and does both; evades the jab and starts the uppercut. Mind you, you're probably better throwing to the body than the head in that situation as your opponent is now to your left a bit and their head might not be open as it could be blocked by their shoulder if you're super quick slipping, haha. The body would almost always be open in that situation I think.

This.

My work here is done.

It does seem that way. You should come down to Tocco's for our First Friday sparring exhibitions.

Maybe someday. I'm quite a bit behind were I would like to be, so I have a lot of work to put in at my gym.

I don't mean to spar, I mean to watch even.
