Rumor has it Jose was offered a white whale fight for a belt at UFC 207 against Dominick Cruz. This is a card headlined by Ronda Rousey, which means Aldo's PPV points would have been astronomical $$$. But it looks like Jose said no, he wants Conor and only Conor. Wow is that dumb. Conor has the longest line of potential big money match ups, and Jose who already pulled out of a fight to Conor and lost a fight to Conor after a year of build up, and declined to fight Conor earlier this year on short notice before the Diaz fight.

Jose does not speak English at all, doesn't even try. He does not care at all about money. Admirable to the point of being stupid. You can't win at life with a stubborn narrow mindedness. If you want to win the game you have to understand and play all of the factors.

Jose could make a fight with Conor by beating Cruz, having two belts, and then if Conor wins his next fight and has two belts, now you have a story: two belts vs. two belts. But no, Jose wants it his way and he wants it now.
 
If he keeps taking other fights Conor will just wait till he loses and use it as an excuse not to fight him. Aldo's fighting legacy is already cemented. Conor needs Jose more than most people realize for his own fight legacy. There's an interim champ he needs to take out

Money isnt everything. If it was people would never retire. They would just die at work ensuring maximum lifetime earnings.

Guess himself and Nate aren't fighting again until they get offered another McGregor fight. Thought these guys were supposed to be better than that.
 
Why would the UFC want to do Aldo v Cruz? I don't believe for a second that was offered.
 
When Conor loses, he will have no choice but to defend his belt, otherwise, he'll have nothing around his waist....well, besides a bank account full of fuck'n money. Aldo should hold out for the fight he wants, otherwise, fuck the UFC.
