I'm looking at Naja Muay Thai (Naja Muay Thai) in Orlando, the Muay Thai classes meet M/W/F and open mat on Saturday's. The gym charges $120/month. Seems kind of expensive, but what do you all think? Also, anyone here have experience with this gym? How much do you all pay for Muay Thai?

I'm also looking into ATT, I just can't find much information on their Muay Thai instructor or prices. Haven't had a chance to go down and check it out, busy with school.

Thanks for any information.

It depends on location. Good gyms are $150-180 here (NYC). Orlando is cheaper, but it's still a city, so that price doesn't shock me or anything.

That is not a terrible price. look into their competition records, number of people training there (for a good variety of sparring partners), instructors credentials, etc. You just want as much quantifiable info as possible to pay that much but also make sure that they are classes that suit your needs and goals. Good luck and I hope you find a good training center.

lol @ those prices. you can join a quality boxing gym for 50 dollars a month.

ATT in Deerfield Beach FL - $80/mo for just muay thai. $150 for muay thai + jiujitsu....mon-sat

those prices are crazy , meijiro gym a'dam charges like 45 euro a month .

yeah you join the gym for 50, but you got to pay the coach extra to actually train you.

Not really, I train at a gym for 50$ a month and it uncludes the coach aswell.

Boxing gyms are typically cheaper.

and? i'm willing to bet a lot of money that's not unilaterally true, but even if it were, the last mma gym i went to wanted me to pay over a hundred so i could work with this college kid every other day. on the other hand, you can go to los freaking angeles and pay 50 dollars to go train in freddie roach's gym.

i mean, i'm not trying to rip on mt or anything, but really, lol @ those prices.

I pay 87 a month for a MT gym. I think it's a good deal. I usually go around 6 x a week + there's alot of condioning equipment and weights. 2 rings and during the evenings wr share a ring with boxers, so we can spar with boxers if we like.

My gym charges $100/month but since I'm a corrections officer the owner has me pay $80/month. That fee covers boxing/muay thai/BJJ/MMA. If I had the time I could go to classes M-Th, go to open gym on Fr., spar Sa., and go to open BJJ roll on Su. afternoon. At the moment I'm just taking Muay Thai. It's a great deal/price.

Actually, I misspoke. The Gym charges $100/month for the M/W/F Muay Thai + Conditioning classes Monday through Friday. The $120/month I mentioned above is for the Muay Thai + Conditioning, and also Judo/Submission Grappling on Tuesday/Thursday.

Doesn't seem as bad now.

I agree MMA and Muay Thai needs to become less expensive... I went from paying 79$ per month 6yrs ago to 135$ right now... different schools but even the old academy i trained at has raised their prices to about 120$... crazyyyyy...

He pays 120 for MT. At my boxing gym it was 50 a month, a 40 every week for a trainer. 40 x4 =160+50 to join the gym. You are now paying almost double for your "cheap" boxing gym.
I was getting 1 on 1 with my boxing coach cuz I was there at noon, but 210 bucks a month is alot of cheddar.

Holy shit prices in America are skyhigh!
In Holland quality gym's like vos and mejiro ask 50 euro's max for 3-5 times a week.
I myself train full mma 3 times a week for only 50 euro's a week.

$65 CAD/month, $180 CAD/3 months, $700 CAD/12 months.
