How is the judging still this bad?

One thing that will always remain a consistent staple in the Ufc is the atrocious judging. Every single fight card there is atleast a few controversial decisions. Tonight was no different.

Maycee Barber lost that fight 29-28 UD and possibly 30-27. Didn’t do any damage at all and got controlled most of the fight. She’s had 2 gifted decisions which she clearly lost both times. Dan Mirgliotta is a terrible judge and should never judge a fight again after giving barber 30-27

Chito is a fantastic fighter but there is no way that should of been a split dec. Sandman won it 49-46 UD and the judge who gave it to Chito should also never judge a fight again.


The fighters train so hard and one loss can get them cut yet the garbage judging holds their future and careers. The ufc needs to do something asap because this will keep happening and we will keep complaining about this.

You guys need to start a petition.
The athletic commission is a government subsidiary. They have to listen to the people to a degree. Make a petition to fire Chris Lee.
I'm not American, so I can't sign stuff like that, but considering the opportunities of social media, and the overall consensus on bad judging, it shouldn't be too hard to get 25K-50K signatures on something like that.

Chris Lee was a fucking embarassment tonight. Scoring for Vera and scoring for Njokuani. You just cannot be that blind as a judge.

Edit: I stand corrected. It wasn't Chris Lee who scored the fight for Vera. I think I got pissed after the Njokuani score and just went over my head and concluded it could only be him to score that faulty.
That's how bad the situation is. It's not only one judge who sucks. It's all of them.

Judges them selves should be judged & by the fighters. Get a yellow card then piss them off after repeated shit judging. Seems like they get their job & have no way of getting them out until they retire. Sounds political........

Fighters deserve better as they work their asses off & the judges just sit on theirs? 1 judge going for Vera today shows how much of a joke they are & disrespects MMA.

Because the status quo is fine, from the commission perspective. It's like the absolutely abhorrent reffing of the NFL. Everyone with eyes can see it's so bad it borders on corruption, but what does the NFL do about it? Nothing.

Yeah, both fights shouldn't have been " wait a minute" outcomes . I usually root for maycee and when I heard 30-27 on final card , I was like " yeah, barber lost " cause there's no way she won all 3 rounda- it couldn't of went her way.

Maycee has a legit argument to win that fight. Media scores were split 50/50. The fans are just biased against her.
