Since Olivera is champ we gotta talk about Felder, how good do you think he is? Last guy to finish Oliveria by TKO, out of 6 losses, 4 are split dec, 1 unanimous and that 1 doctor stoppage..

As for his skills, hes tough as fuck, solid striking and hits hard as well, deff a hard guy to deal with but can he be champ? Hes climbing up in years and doing a lot of commentating too so who knows..

He lacks the overall skills to really be an elite top 5 who can consistently dominate, but he's so damn tough and willing to take risks that he's able to hang with anyone.

Eventually aging will get him, but he's as tough as they come, both mentally and physically. He's really good, top 10-15 in any LW era. Unfortunately he hasn't had the greatest luck the past few years. crazy to think he could have a 21-2 record if things went differently, Masvidal vibes.

He's tough and but isn't special at anything. Good striking, decent ground game but he isn't elite at anything. Lacks talent to be champ

He offers to fight on short notice too many times because the UFC has him over the barrel with the commentating job.

He offered to fight Khabib short notice in New York but the commission says no.
He offered to fight RDA short notice.

Considering how good he did against RDA in an incredibly short notice fight I'd say he is very good. Other fighters can certainly give him problems, sure but I'd never count him out in a fight. He was the last person to beat Charles and he did it violently as well.

He’s not good enough to think that fighting Islam does him any good at all. Having said that, he’s pretty good.

Felder is getting older. He has enough intelligence to understand his limitations which is why he’s become rather picky about opponents. I’m sure his camp have some notion of this as well. If he wants the title it must occur through a specific road of opponents and this looks less likely to materialize each event. He’s calling out the champ knowing he has no path through the contenders in front of him, or those tapping on his shoulder. It’s a tough spot.

He's a really good fighter, Top 10 guy. He'll never be champ though...
