How good is Moose now?

Left the UFC on a good run but hasn't performed that well in Bellator. Sure he's winning but looking at his fights he doesn't look like a top MW. IMO he lost his Bellator debut to Shlemenko fought some WWs and had a competitive fight against a washed up Machida. How do you think he would be doing in the UFC now? His career in Bellator has been mostly beating up guys who shouldn't be fighting at MW.

I don't think it's a blow out or sure thing for Moose. Edmen he should easily handle. Gastelum would be a tough fight. Hall he should be able to beat again. Everyone above that have a good chance at beating Moose IMO. Probably can break Brunson and Hermansson might lose if he can't get the takedown. That and Moose is good on the ground as well.
 
Moose > Ultimate Circus. He's enjoying the end of his career in a better organization.
 
Could moose replicate jan's game? People blame the size disparity but marvin was able to hold him down in round three. Seriously... Moose can probably throw every single strike and combination jan threw, is probably faster than jan, just as technical, could motivated moose do it? I can see a reality where it happens but I still think he'd lose to izzy as he normally loses to specialists.
 
he is declining, i'm not sure if he is still top 10 anymore

He's 35 and natty. You can see him declining in the last 2 years.
Still top 10 though, can probably beat some top 5 guys.

I would give Jared an edge,
Whittaker with a style for clearly winning rounds.
IA would win but Moose I think would do very well style wise.
if Costa showed up like he did with Yoel....maybe...Moose I heard him say himself that Yoel is a problem for him style wise.

I still think he can beat anyone of these fighters but he is at the end of his career. 35 so a good 2 years left unless he is already damaged enough. He has never been TKO or KO except by hall and fought the best. He is very impressive and the fact he is so calm in every fight just adds to how bad ass he is. His style was calm too so he looks like he was wasting no energy. He has had an amazing career and wish he never left the UFC but they were not giving him a title shot is what I though made him leave.

I don't think he was far away from a title shot TBH. Probably one more win. I think he chose easier matchups with guaranteed money.
 
I think Vettori or Brunson could out wrestle him. Ive always wanted to see mousasi vs Robert Whitaker I hope that happens one day

mousasi a few years ago would destroy all of these guys but its hard to tell where he is at right now.
 
He's stunk up the joint in Bellator. I thought he lost to Shlemenko and Machida, and his two best wins are unwatchable fights with welterweights.
