Bob had so many natural advantages, but his heart wasn't really in it.
-6'5 with 7'0 reach.
-330lbs lean.
-surprising athleticism for his size.
-iron chin (a lot of people don't realise this because of how often he gets """knocked out""", but Bob ate heavy shots like they were nothing when he actually tried. Him giving up is mostly due to unwillingness to take injury rather than inability.)
With 6-12 months of experience and minimal technique he beat Ernesto Hoost twice and nearly killed Nogueira.
What could he have accomplished if he'd actually stuck with it and evolved from being completely one-dimensional? Obviously assuming drug testing remained out of the picture.
