So Joe Rogan was saying he rolls 3 deep. 3 ex Navy seals as they know how to kill.

They live at his compound. I assume 24/7 thus and probably 8 hour shifts with 2 on at a time while 1 guy sleeps?

Wouldnt this be a really chill job compared to guarding the President or some elite politician or billionaire oligarch?

The level of threats are small compared to world leaders.

I envsion myself as a private security guard getting high and walking around the property

Most celebs don't want navy seals as bodyguards, they just want big black guys to intimidate other people and that's capable of roughing around the average guy if necessary. I always figured Joe Rogan just locks his compound up when he leaves but probably has everything insured and has a security system installed. It's just a studio not military compound or something protecting classified information, so not necessary to have bodyguards 24/7 imo. Definitely seems like sweet gig but not something you're gonna find in too many places. They probably all got hooked up through connections since Joe knows a lot of people in the military community

just how much would having 3 ex seals around 24/7 cost?

think Sherdog, think

Spec Ops guys don't necessarily make the best bodyguards. I would think plenty of Secret Service agents would opt for the higher pay and lower stress of guarding a celeb.

My buddy did it for b-list celebs back in the late 90s. He could incline press 405 for reps and had been in more fights by age 16 than most pro wrestlers.

Ultamelty he ended up scoring drugs for them and driving their fuck toys around Los Angeles more than anything else.

And yes he was a big black guy.

Surprised Rogan would need bodyguards. He's wellknown, but not like an A-list celeb or something.

When you say they live at his compound, does that mean his house or the podcast studio?

Well it's a different kind of gig because apparently Rogan is housing them. Maybe he has a guest house they live in and operate out of or something? I imagine some like fairly nice 3 bedroom house with a command center type room full of monitors and what not that one guy chills at, while another guy patrols out on foot and the third guy is on his break/sleep period.

I'd imagine it's somewhere between $120-150k a year per guard. I might be way the fuck off though.

Private security comes in many flavors, and usually doesn't pay that much unless you're the owner of the company.

While many join the private sector from a previous career in law enforcement or the military, there are plenty of guys who were just bouncers who moved up a bit and others who got cold recruited directly out of the gym because they're big.

Someone mentioned it a thread. Then the internet said his place is big with a lot of other buildings on it like trailers.

Looks like people can live in those other structures

He has a huge audience and has crazies from left and right who hate him

We did a remodel for a tech company owner at one of his vacation homes. He had ex military security, like black water type guys. We asked them what the biggest threat was and they said something like a sniper while the client is out on his yacht.

It works like any security does. You hire people( or a firm) and if you go legit those people have a guard card, a license to carry on the job, and various other licenses like to be able to carry handcuffs and non lethals and whatnot.

If they’re living rent free on his property(in Texas) and provided decent housing, I’d guess it’s more like $50k/yr and unlimited supply of Alpha Brain.

Man even he isnt safe. If a state wants him gone they make it happen.

Look at Boris Berezovsky. Billionaire. Hanged in his bathroom. Had tons of security. Unless you believe he suicided

CPR and First Aid too.

The guy I used to do my CPR renewal courses with taught them as a side gig, his main job was security. He got his picture in a few newspapers back in the day because he was on Michael Jacksons escort detail for the times he went to court.

He said it was normally pretty chill, but what followed that was the one time he hated the job. Papparazzi started hounding him for comments on the MJ allegations.
