What if you had ass cancer?
Would you go out the first day and tell everyone you had cancer in your ass?

Im going to try to respond in a nice way even though your post made me laugh. My step Uncle did have colon cancer. Its not funny in anyway you put it. I do whole heartily agree with you. I made this thread to get other peoples outlook. No one is right all the time, I just like to know other people's perspectives.
 
I think the consensus has been to leave the guy be and let him live however he wants to live.

And if it is you, just embrace the things that make you happy bro (not trying to pick on you, just trying to be honest and trusting that you're not making a troll thread here)

You're welcome. Like I said, I've got a friend, a good friend, who everyone has pretty much assumed/decided/determined to be gay. He seems to not have realized yet, or at least pretend like it isn't the case. He doesn't date many women, if any, and constantly gets friendzoned and seems to be content there when he does. He has an extremely religious family/background which is probably why he is not accepting of it too. All in all though, he's still a good friend, was there for me through some of the lowest and highest points of the last 10 years of my life. If he ever decides to come out to me, it won't change the love I have for him as my friend.
One of my wife's best friends is a flamer btw, and he is one of the coolest guys I know. Funny as shit and one hell of a mean drunk (to strangers, not to his friends) which makes for some very entertaining nights out. No one wants to hit him because it's clear he's a nancy but he definitely gets some tempers flaring around him.
 
I think everyone riding the why do you give a shit coat tail need to back off a tad. I'm the proest non gay person there is but I'd be curious as fuck and wanting my friend to trust me enough to come out too.
 
unless you want to be responsible for totally and completely ruining someone's life I would let it go.

If you are prepared to be the reason someone potentially commits suicide then go for it.
