It didn't seem that long ago there were threads upon threads how USADA was going to clean house and clean up the sport of all juicers.

Now I seldomly see posts or articles regarding USADA and fighters being popped for pissing hot.

Because everyone will be banned, and we will not have UFC anymore

I think the UFC no longer allows USADA to make announcements about drug tests anymore. Their credibility kind of disappeared when they invented an excuse for Jones to fight Gus while on steroids.

The change to not announcing violations until they're resolved through the appeals process may have had something to do with it.

Also, I remember A LOT of WEED violations, and they no longer bust athletes for that

edit: they no longer bust athletes for weed UNLESS they can prove it was used for pain or anxiety.

What is your point? I have heard people arguing climate change as not being real claim "We never hear about the Ozone Layer anymore." It clearly was a hoax. Fact is the Montreal Protocol basically fixed that problem.

Also only 3 days ago here on Sherdog Daniel Rodriguez Announces Drug Test Failure, Withdrawal From Noche UFC Event (sherdog.com)

Daniel Rodriguez was flagged by USADA just a few days ago. But naturally you’re going to hear less, they’ll catch the easy ones early on and guys will either adhere or have found their ways around it the longer it goes.

That’s a shame about the weed part. These guys could be injecting so much pot into their bodies that they’d never be forced to tap, leaving it up to the ref wether the weed put them to sleep or the choke

they might be testing only for instances like you describe above. It's a lot more of a gray area now.

"Most significant to the new rule changes, a UFC athlete who tests positive for carboxy-THC (the main psychoactive component in cannabis) will face a violation by USADA only if evidence demonstrates the substance was taken for performance-enhancing purposes such as alleviating pain or anxiety; otherwise the athlete will not be eligible for sanction. A positive test for the prohibited substance, THC, will result in an atypical finding that will only be deemed a violation if it meets the aforementioned condition."

USADA is a joke. Or how come that Jon Jones still fights? Also it's commonly known that they roid in the US. Only Soy-Boy Nate and Colby are clean...
