Volk's victories over Max are sure as hell Volk's. If you consider Max a great, and Volk's 3-0 against him, hasn't ever lost at FW, has a win over the best FW of all time, another FW great in Mendes, and just gave the LW champion by far his toughest fight to date then yeah at some stage your going to have to realize the reason why your takes hot. I agree Volk needs to diversify his title run a bit to cement himself as an all time great @Istryker , he beat Mendes, Aldo and Zombie after they had fallen from their primes quite noticeably. Still good wins but not the same as they once were. He beat Ortega who's a legit top 5ish dude but Ortega didn't exactly earn that title shot and hasn't beaten a ranked fighter in like 5 years. The bulk of Volks resume as champ is just having beaten Max 3 times, which is huge but I'd like to see more. A win over Yair and maybe Topuria if/when he beats Emmett would be two huge wins over the next generation.
